Logotipo Triassic Park (Amusement park) Steinplatte

Hop on the gondola – and off to the prehistoric era!

Summer belongs to prehistoric explorers
Triassic Park on the Steinplatte combines nature, learning and adventure to create a varied day-out destination for families in the Tyrol–Salzburg–Bavaria border region.

At an altitude of around 1,700 metres above sea level, Triassic Park offers visitors a unique world of discovery centred on the history of the Earth. Where the ancient Tethys Sea once lay, families can now immerse themselves in a thrilling prehistoric landscape featuring dinosaurs, fossils and interactive stations.

Join in, discover and get active
The focus is on active exploration: children are lovingly entertained with creative activities and, at the many interactive stations in Triassic Park, become little explorers themselves, discovering the world of dinosaurs through play. Along the Triassic Trail around the summit, life-size dinosaurs, fossil finds in Fischer’s Coral Garden and numerous hands-on stations await. The low ropes course provides additional exercise and fun.

Cooling off and interactive highlights

On warm days, Triassic Beach offers a welcome refreshment with water features and Kneipp facilities. The experience is complemented by an augmented reality treasure hunt, where older children can bring the dinosaurs to life digitally via their smartphones.

Panoramic views and relaxation
A special vantage point is the Panorama Muschel – a barrier-free relaxation area with impressive views of the Tyrolean mountains. The viewing platform also offers spectacular views of the alpine landscape. The regular yoga and fitness sessions held there are unique.

Always worth the trip up the mountain – even in bad weather
The Triassic Park is a versatile destination in all weathers. In the Triassic Centre with its research camp and in the stalactite cave, you can continue to explore prehistoric times regardless of the weather.
