Steinach am Brenner

The village of Steinach am Brenner is particularly attractive due to its central location in the Wipptal valley and the only mountain railway in the region, the Bergeralm mountain railway. You could say that the village lies exactly in the golden mean. From here, the beautiful mountain climbing village of Gschnitztal opens up to the west, Matrei with Maria Waldrast is only a stone's throw away and the other mountain valleys can also be reached in max. 20 minutes.

Steinach is also located on the Brenner railway and is perfectly connected to the provincial capital of Innsbruck via the railway station. Here there are half-hourly connections with the S-Bahn to Innsbruck or hourly to the Brenner. The best thing is that the ticket for the S-Bahn and all regional buses to the valleys is already included in your guest card! This makes excursions easy and also protects the environment.
