In the craft museum there are reconstructed workshops from the town of Murau. Already forgotten work processes are presented here and brought closer to the visitors.
The cultural history of the town comes to life anew in the town and craft museum. The everyday life of the people of Murau, their work and leisure time are shown. The historical handicraft is as much a topic as the history of trade, agriculture and the household. Information events and seminars are held regularly.
The Crafts Museum can only be visited as part of a guided tour.
