13-hectare area for relaxing and experiencing: Water goddess, willow construction, biotope, dovecote, watering hole, safen; some stations of the nature and culture adventure trail ‘Zukunft spazierendenken’ are also located in the thermal park.
The Thermenpark connects the Bad Blumau thermal baths with the town centre. With the Safenbach stream as an ecological lifeline, the park invites you to take a leisurely stroll. Native trees and shrubs, vine trellises and wild shrub areas have been planted. The idyllic pond area with striking bays and stone walls gives the thermal park an almost Mediterranean flair.
The willow building in the Bad Blumau thermal spa park is unique in the region. A large inner dome (22 metres in diameter, 8 metres high) is framed by many smaller ones. The building was realised by young people with the help of the internationally renowned willow construction architect Marcel Kalberer. Relax in the shade of the domes.
