A little piece of home – The Wasa combines authentic Lechtal traditions with genuine Tyrolean hospitality. Surrounded by a unique natural landscape, this cosy alpine hut invites you to enjoy, relax and experience the beauty of the mountains.

A Little Piece of Home

The name of the hut comes from the local Lechtal dialect: “Wasa” means “wet meadow” and refers to the original landscape surrounding the alpine hut. The water-rich meadows and wetlands now provide a valuable habitat for numerous animal and plant species, making the area a unique natural retreat.

Those seeking peace and tranquillity will find the perfect place here to relax, observe nature and unwind. The diverse flora and fauna around the hut invite visitors to discover the beauty of the Lechtal mountains with all their senses.

A special highlight during winter are the popular toboggan evenings. When snow conditions are good, guests and their sledges are comfortably transported up to the hut by tractor. After enjoying a hearty Tyrolean snack, the adventure continues with a thrilling floodlit toboggan ride back down to the valley – an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
