Wild & primal
Wild and romantic rocky mountains, plunging waterfalls, emerald green waters and a wonderful panorama in healthy mountain air make for an all-round unforgettable picture - a lasting impression.

The Wolfsklamm with its 354 steps and wooden bridges is among the most beautiful in the Alps. A hike through the gorge is an experience no visitor can evade. It is worth it - experiencing this mountain world which has been preserved in its original primal condition. More than 100 years ago, on 11 August 1901 to be precise, the Wolfsklamm in Stans was named "Pearl of the Tirolean Lowlands".

Power place St. Georgenberg
From the gorge, a pilgrimage path carries on to St. Georgenberg, the oldest pilgrimage site in Tirol. Here you are already in the Alpine Park Karwendel nature reserve. S

hortly before getting to the cliff monastery, you'll pass the protected "High Bridge". The stone arch from the year 1497 once supported the oldest bridge in Tirol. St. Georgenberg is a site of strength and centre of peacefulness. The church is open daily. Religious services are held regularly.
