The Hochreithrunde is a true running adventure! This short but crisp route offers an exciting mix of tarmac, forest roads and challenging, rooty single trails. Every kilometre brings new impressions and varied terrain that challenges both your endurance and your technique. Run over smooth roads, through shady forests and along unspoilt paths while feeling the rhythm of your steps and enjoying the fresh air. The Hochreithrunde is the perfect place to rediscover the joy of running - come, enjoy the variety and leave everyday life behind you!
Start in the centre of Maria Alm and head towards the entrance to the village, shortly before the entrance a road leads off to the right in the direction of the golf course, follow this road to the golf course, past the Golfstüberl and continue up towards Hochreith. Before you reach Hochreith, you have to turn right, then you come to a super nice rooty trail that leads towards Gasthof Kronreith. Just before Gasthof Kronreith, you have to turn right and then head through the forest over the finest single trails and along a forest road back to Maria Alm.
