Time for a vacation
Our country house is also the perfect place to spend a different kind of vacation in summer.
The summer holidays are just around the corner and the feel-good aspect should be the top priority and that is definitely the case with us. Feeling at home in a well-kept environment, lots of warmth and friendliness. In the first few months of our wonderful new role at the Landhaus, we were visited by people from all over the world.
Guests who reached their destination exhausted but overjoyed, hikers who opened our eyes to the paradise we live in. Holidaymakers who know our homeland so well that we were often more than surprised. Postcards that reach us, bring a smile to our faces and confirm that we are on the right track.
A mission from the heart that we can now live out together with our family. We want our guests to feel at home from the very first moment and want them to want for nothing.

The scent of Swiss stone pine, beautiful carpentry furniture, lovely and colourful accents - everything in our rooms has been thought through down to the last detail. The showers and WCs are bright and some offer breathtaking mountain views. On the balcony you can take in the wonderful surroundings, and the newly designed terrace on the ground floor is a small but cosy oasis. Children can let off steam around our small property - a beautiful orchard makes the hearts of nature lovers beat faster.
We are also passionate organic beekeepers and refine many products from our little friends. In the near future, we will also be setting up a small show apiary in our beautiful orchard. Organic food and regionality are very important to us - our whole region is close to our hearts, because if we all look after it, there are many advantages (added value, short transport routes, etc.).
Our valley changes wonderfully throughout the year and is the perfect starting point for excursions to the Alps-Adriatic region and, of course, to our neighbouring countries such as Tyrol, Salzburg and Styria.
In winter, the cable car to the Goldeck ski area can be reached in just under 20 minutes. The unique Mölltal Glacier can be reached by car in around 25 minutes (or conveniently by ski taxi from Kolbnitz).
Our country house was already a popular holiday destination for many guests from near and far in the 1970s. Back then, Wetti and Ernst Königsreiner catered for the physical well-being of holidaymakers.
We are continuing this tradition and starting with completely new rooms, a breakfast room and a wonderful terrace. We look forward to many encounters with people who will feel at home with us. Our house is located on the outskirts of Kolbnitz, close to the R8 cycle path, the ‘Alpe Adria Radweg’ or Alpe Adria Trail. Our guests' bicycles are stored in a lockable cellar compartment. Here the bikes are conveniently stored and a shoe dryer ensures dry shoes. In winter, this room is used for our guests' ski equipment.
We are located in the Lower Mölltal, one of the most beautiful valleys in the Alps. Here, where nature is still in order, our guests should really feel at home. Our community is embedded in an imposing mountain massif. This alpine high mountain region of the Hohe Tauern is a popular summer and winter Eldorado. The impressive mountain world is predestined for unforgettable hiking tours and in winter, skiers' hearts beat faster.
