Radol'ca Food & Bike Tour

Radolca Food & Bike tour is a touring bike trip with a seasonal culinary twist. Start your cycling day in Lesce in front of the Dobra misel shop, where you can browse for delicious organic delicacies and refreshments before the trip, but don't overdo it, because shortly after the start of the tour, you'll have the opportunity to take, by prior arrangement, a hearty cycling snack with you on the road at the Michelin-starred restaurant and hotel, Linhart in Radovljica.

Ready to go, we head towards the Forest Learning Trail and the village of Mošnje, for a visit to the church, and then follow the side paths of the village to the pilgrimage centre of Brezje. From Brezje, we continue towards the village of Črnivec, where we have the opportunity, again by prior arrangement, to make our next stop at the Frelih organic farm (Andreja Frelih, 040 807 842), where you will be able to buy goods (organic eggs and vegetables) for the days to come, or have a meal of the finest local delicacies. A beautiful, stacked climb through the fairytale forests of Peračica, followed by a descent to Dvorska vas and the opportunity to enjoy fresh Baronove strawberries when they are in season. We continue our trip to Begunje na Gorenjskem, the home of folk music, where we grit our teeth a little more and cycle to Kamen Castle. This is also the highest point of our trip, as we descend from Kamen Castle towards the village of Poljče and continue our trip to Hraše, where two ecological and culinary surprises await us, the first being the Vegerila organic farm, where the caring farmer and master of this type of farming, Tilen Praprotnik, can show you the fruits of his hard work, by prior arrangement, and then shoot ahead for a chance to refresh yourself at the Pr' Jernejc tourist and fruit farm (Anže Legat, 040 186 158). Then it's back to the starting point in Lesce.

The route is designed to take the cyclist to the heart and hidden places of our destination, providing fresh, local and seasonal refreshments along the way and a complete cycling experience.
