The start of winter in Bad Kleinkirchheim: skiing or spa during the day, and at weekends from 4 pm the Kirchheim Advent market on the village square. The Thermal Römerbad spa is 300 metres from the house.
Valid from 4 to 23 December 2026
Please note which lift runs when: The ski area opens on 4 December. Until 17 December the lifts run in St. Oswald, and the free ski bus takes you there from the Römerbad stop. The Kaiserburg cable car, 300 metres from the house, runs from 18 December. So if you come before 18 December, you come for the Advent market, the spa and the slopes in St. Oswald, not for the cable car on the doorstep. Which pistes are open depends on snow and weather; the Bergbahnen publish the current status daily.
