solar nature trail

The Solar Education Trail is a 5 km circular route featuring 9 information boards.
It provides insights into the solar system, the sun in relation to time and orientation, the interaction between the sun and Earth within our worldview, the sun and health, as well as solar energy and its uses. Visual illustrations are included, and each board presents an engaging question about the sun.

Route description: Starting from the information board in the town center, the trail heads west past the West parking area to the first station, located below the Mariapfarr primary school. From there, numerous signposts guide you along the circular route. Benches at the stations invite you to rest and enjoy the surroundings. Stations 8 and 9 are located directly at the Samsunn Vital and Wellness Center, where you can also take a break and refresh.

The trail is suitable for strollers and is ideal for families with children. Many benches along the stations provide opportunities to rest. 🌞
