Hofalm mit Almsee in Filzmoos (21)

We start at the Wagrain tourist office. In Wagrain-Markt at the junction with the B163 turn right towards Flachau.

You cross the districts of Schwaighof and Moadörfl. At the end of the village, at the level of the Wagrain sign, the bike path towards Flachau begins. At the first roundabout take the 3rd exit towards Reitdorf.

In Reitdorf am Zehenthof, one of the oldest originally preserved hereditary estates with a long family history, turn left and drive over the Schachen-Bichlweg and on to the Bichlweg through the Pichl villages to Eben.

Via Filzmooserstraße / Schattbach-Bundesstraße, past Neuberg, you reach the mountain and hiking village of Filzmoos with its distinctive landmark, the Bischofsmütze. In the center of Filzmoos, take the 2nd exit at the roundabout. Past the hotel restaurant of the star chef Johanna Maier and the famous host Fiaker. Behind the town center, a toll road (toll-free for cyclists) leads to the popular excursion pastures at the foot of the Bischofsmütze.

The Hofalmen, Unterhofalm and Oberhofalm, are highly recommended as a stop.
