Slow Mountain – the magic mountain of slowness

High above Davos, where the sun lingers longer and the slopes gently descend into the valley, lies the Slow Mountain ski area. Here, time passes a little more slowly, the slopes are free of hustle and bustle, and the pleasure of skiing regains its original tranquillity.

Our wide, sunny slopes invite you to glide – not to race. Children, connoisseurs and lovers of leisurely skiing will find their terrain here. No queues, no pushing. Just the silence of the mountains, the crunch of snow, the clear Davos air.

We only use natural snow – as the landscape allows. That's why our slopes sometimes open or close a little earlier, sometimes a little later. Always in harmony with nature, never against it.

For more than a hundred years, Schatzalp has been a place of relaxation – even in winter. Slow Mountain continues this spirit: skiing as culture, as a little escape into a world without haste.

Those looking for speed will find it in the valley and elsewhere. Those who want to slow down will find it up here – at 1,800 metres.
