Bernd, Hanna’s beloved partner, is a chef through and through – more precisely, a heart-and-soul chef. A virtuoso in his craft, a staunch supporter of regional products, a lover of fine taste, dancing with aromas and inspiring gourmets to dream.

In 2024, Bernd once again earned 2 Gault Millau toques with 13.5 points – just 0.5 points shy of the coveted third toque – almost the culinary Olympus. And while his cooking is at the top, Bernd himself remains grounded. A head chef who lives by the principles of freshness, regionality, and sustainability, reinterpreting classics with innovation and honoring the new and creative with flavor and finesse.

Swim in 30°C warm water with views of nature, let the massage jets gently bubble you into bliss, and feel the Joglland sauna touch you to your core. Pure delight after exploring the beauty of nature. Winter Sports & Snow Magic

Winter sports lovers and snow enthusiasts will find their place in Joglland! Far from crowded slopes, enjoy perfect snow conditions in four family-friendly ski resorts: Mönichwald, Wenigzell, St. Jakob im Walde, and Strallegg. These safe and easy-to-navigate ski areas are just 10 minutes away from our hotel.

Cross-country skiing is also a top priority in our region – 8 trails over 80 km guide you through the picturesque Joglland-Waldheimat.

Winter and snowshoe hikes between the Fischbach Alps and the Hochwechsel will enchant you and bring you closer to the peace and beauty of the region.
