Cultural activities
Winter is the period when the ancient Ladin culture can be admired in the most original and genuine aspect: Christmas customs and traditions, farmers’ everyday life and, certainly, handicraft (the traditional occupation of peasants during the winter months). Further information about the Ladin history, culture, language and the local geology can be found in the exciting Ladin museums and at the Institute For Ladin Culture “Micurá de Rü”.
Skiing in the Dolomites
All passionate skiers and snowboarders can benefit from the convenient location of La Val between the most renowned skiing areas of Dolomiti Superski: Alta Badia and Plan de Corones/Kronplatz. The lifts of Alta Badia can be reached from La Val by a freeski bus (the bus stop is right in front of La Flüta), while the lifts of Plan di Corones/Kronplatz are only 10 min. away by car.
Holiday with kids
Winter in La Val is a fabulous period for children to have fun on the snow through playing, skiing, sledging and snowshoeing. The time of particular magic comes at the end of the year. Christmas decorations and celebrations make every village in the Dolomites sparkle in a very special way. Don’t miss a visit to the Christmas Market of Brunico in the nearby Val Pusteria.
Sports & nature
La Val holds its “hiking village” status even in winter, offering a choice among 30 km of well-prepared walking and hiking routes. The virgin alpine slopes are ideal for snowshoe hikes and ski touring, while at Armentara (depending on weather conditions) you can find a wonderful cross-country skiing area and the longest toboggan run of Alta Badia – 10 km of pure fun through snow-covered woods and meadows.
The accommodation bill can be paid in the following ways:
In cash for total amounts of less than 1999.99 Euro;
By bank transfer (in this case the entire payment for your stay should be transferred before your arrival);

The prices are meant per day and include: Free Wifi, bedlinen, towels, final cleaning, private parking. Prices are for a standard occupancy. For each additional person, a surcharge is added.
Important:
From 01/01/2014 all prices shown are subject to a Tourist Tax amounting to 2,30 Euro per person (aged 14 and over) per day, payable upon departure.

General cancellation terms and conditions:
If the cancellation is communicated 90 days before arrival: loss of the confirmation deposit;
If the cancellation is communicated between 90 and 30 days before arrival: 40% of the total price is charged;
If the cancellation is communicated between 30 and 9 days before arrival: 70% of the total price is charged;
Less than 8 days before arrival: 100% of the total price is charged;
In case of late arrival, prior departure or cancelation, the amount of the entire stay will be charged;
In case of cancelation of reservation, the deposit will not be refunded;
Check in:
The apartments are at your disposal from 2 pm on arrival day.
Check out:
The apartments have to be left within 9.30 am on departure day.
Pets:
Upon prior agreement, we accept pets (no puppies) at the price of 10.00 Euro per pet per day, provided that their owners never leave their pets alone in the rooms and undertake entire responsibility for any damage caused by their pets.
No smoking:
Smoking is not allowed in all apartments.
Furniture:
We ask our guests to take good care of the high quality furniture and the fine textiles of our house. Any damage to the property or its appliances will be charged.
Travel insurance:
We recommend you to contact your insurance company and insure your journey against cancellation, early termination or late arrival.
