Lednice-Valtice area Areal Walk for the whole day

The start of the route is in Valtice, either at the bus stop or the train station: Valtice Město. The first point of the route is the square in Valtice, where the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the National Agricultural Museum, the Castle Riding School, the Municipal Office and the Valtice State Castle are centralized, where you can walk through the castle garden or inside the castle with expert commentary. From the castle we will return to the square and along the street: Růžová through the vineyards and we will walk a very steep road to the Colonnade on Reistná. It is a grand monument with arches and columns built for a 19th-century prince and complete with a viewing platform. Not far from the colonnade is the former customs office of the border crossing to Austria, the Valtice Iron Curtain Museum. From the colonnade, it is possible to go back the same way or go along the main road (41412) and towards the railway station Valtice město.

From this stop we will turn into parvo and walk a few tens of meters around the railway line to the first bridge over the line. there is already a marked tourist route towards the Lednice area. (Red route) for cyclists is (5045). After about 1.3 km, the red route turns right, this route leads to the Rendezvous. but our journey will continue straight along Ladenská Cesta. After less than a kilometer we reach the Ladenská alej signpost. Again, we will continue along the path that will lead us to Nové Dvor. From the farm we will follow the red marked road to Lednice past two large ponds and the railway line. In the castle gardens of the Lednické castle, we will meet on the side of the Maurská waterworks. From the waterworks it is possible to go both to the right and to the left. We will go around Zámecký rybník to the repaired Minaret.
