Our hike starts at the station Schluchsee. There we cross the tracks and walk directly along the lake towards Aha. After a short stretch we cross the railway bridge, which separates the Schluchsee and the small lake from each other. Past the boat rental, we now hike on a natural path to the scenic Amalienruhe. Along the Schluchsee, it is always straight ahead, past small stretches of beach that invite you to linger. From the boat berth in Aha we follow the "Seerundweg". Over the dam, which separates the fish breeding pond from the Schluchsee, we follow the quieter part of our circular route. and as soon as we come to the Unterkrummenhof, who invites us to a hearty snack. If you want to relax, you can make yourself comfortable on the sunbathing area or on the shore of Lake Schluchsee below the old Schwarzwaldhof. Freshly strengthened and rested, it continues on the Seerundweg. We circle the large bay at the widest part of the Black Forest lake and cross the Krummenbach. Past the hut of the Schluchseer Anglerverein and the Waldrastplatz Schöne Buchen, we will soon meet the dam and the jetty of the Seerundfahrtsschiff MS Schluchsee. From here we can shorten our hike and cover the last stretch by ship. There is a nice break in the beer garden at the dam. For the persevering hikers among us, we go over the dam and in the direction of the station Seebrugg. Once there, we can make a detour to the Seehotel Hubertus, which attracts us with a magnificent view over the lake and a fresh piece of Black Forest cherry. We walk back to the junction that led us to the station. After a short walk along the road, we dive back into the idyllic atmosphere of the forest and follow the Kohlgrubenweg back to Schluchsee-Ort.
