Gosau - a haven for hiking, climbing, mountain biking, nature discovery or for simply relaxing!
Our privately owned holiday apartment is located in the Hallstatt Dachstein Salzkammergut World Heritage Region. The nearest airports are Salzburg, Linz and Munich. A real home from home, the apartment is furnished and equipped to a high standard.
As the apartment is situated within a hotel block, there is free Wifi in the reception area, and our guests have access to the small indoor swimming pool, saunas and relaxation area. There is a bar within the hotel, and guests can purchase meals in the dining room. From the balcony there are beautiful views down the valley.
The kitchen includes two cooking rings, a fridge with ice-making compartment, a microwave with grill function as well as storage space. The accommodation comprises one separate double bedroom, lounge with traditional style wooden corner seating/dining area and a sofa which can be converted into a comfortable double bed. There is a bathroom with bath and shower and separate WC. There is also a balcony with stunning views down the valley.
The region is magnificent in summer too. Activities range from mountain biking to escorted hiking tours and bathing in the crystal clear lakes throughout the region. Visit Hallstatt and the oldest salt mine in the world with the longest miners' slide. In Obertraun you can visit the Giant Ice Caves, the Mammoth Caves and the Koppenbrueller Caves. Visit the husky dogs on the Krippenstein. Climb up to a traditional mountain hut, and you might even choose to spend the night there! There is a very famous hut up on the Dachstein glacier with overnight facilities. There are opportunities for climbing and numerous via ferratas. There are numerous cable cars available within the summer months too. Some of the high mountain plateaux are suitable for families with pushchairs.
Salzburg is just 45 minutes away by car. This is a beautiful city, famous for the Sound of Music and is a historic and cultural gem. Bad Ischl is well worth a visit too.

An additional charge of 60 Euros for cleaning upon departure, bedlinen and towels is payable at the time of booking.
All visitors are required by law to pay a local tourist tax of 3 Euros per night per adult and less for children. This must be paid at the time of check-in at hotel reception.

All prices are for the apartment and in euros. Guests from the UK may choose to pay in pounds. The final cleaning fee (60 Euros) is payable at the time of reservation.
This fee includes towels and bed linen per person. The fee also includes the 10 Euros that the hotel charges for key handling.
By law, a small tourist tax per person per night (2 Euros per adult) is payable at reception upon arrival.
