The Seven Summits Tour is the ultimate challenge for every mountaineer. In one day, the 7 border peaks of Schröcken are conquered. During the tour, participants must ascend 4,300 meters in altitude over a distance of almost 50 kilometers, all for a good cause. The event benefits the aid organization ROKPA. It's not about the time, but rather about endurance, especially when pushing the limits of physical exertion.

SAVE THE DATE: September 7, 2024.

The 46-kilometer-long tour covers 4,200 meters of altitude that participants must conquer. Only a few manage to complete the tour in under ten hours. Those who take it easy reach the finish line after about 20 hours, including the final steep descent. For most participants, the challenge is not the race itself but rather enduring, as even ambitious hikers push their limits here. The Seven Summits Tour traverses the seven peaks that surround the small village of Schröcken in the Bregenz Forest: Höferspitze (2,131 m), Juppenspitze (2,412 m), Mohnenfluh (2,542 m), Braunarlspitze (2,649 m), Hochberg (2,324 m), Rothorn (2,239 m), and Hochkünzelspitze (2,397 m). The entire circuit follows marked alpine hiking trails/routes without major technical difficulties. Alpine hazards are present, requiring endurance. Participants start at different times based on their fitness level: at 2:00 a.m., 3:30 a.m., 5:00 a.m., and 6:00 a.m. Even the earliest start times require excellent fitness. The last group completes the course in trail running mode.
