Museum for Nature and Technology, aquarium with 40 show tanks including regular feeding, 56 tastefully decorated terrariums with living reptiles and amphibians, dinosaur hall, space show, world of crystals, journey through the human body including sexuality and reproduction, lifeline Salzach, Christian Doppler show, world of the sea, science centre with around 80 experimental stations.

Especially popular with adults and children is the aquarium, which is rightly described as one of the most beautiful in Central Europe. Over 40 show tanks offer an insight into the magical world under water. The reef sharks in the 10,000 litre tank are fed every Monday at 10.30 a.m. The reef sharks are fed at 10.30 a.m. every day. The colorfulness of tropical fish, the close observation of inhabitants of the Mediterranean Sea, Amazon fish or fish from native waters becomes an exciting experience.

Living reptiles and amphibians cavort in the reptile zoo. 56 tastefully decorated terrariums show around 200 animals, mostly unknown in our latitudes: Besides native snakes, the most famous poisonous snakes of all continents, turtles, lizards, giant frogs and Mississippi alligators are at home here.

In the Space Hall, visitors can expect an original-sized diorama of the landing on the moon, a space city of the future, vivid depictions of our planetary system and the structure of the universe, and an original-sized Mercury space capsule with which the Americans made their first space flights in the 1960s.

The new Science Center in the Haus der Natur surprises visitors with a colourful variety of exciting experiments: Technology, natural sciences and one's own body become an interactive experience. At around 80 experimental stations on three floors, turbines can be operated by the visitor's own hands, and music can not only be heard but also felt in the walk-in violin body. When experimenting, questions such as "Why is cement or coffee used as a powder?", "How does sound get into the ear?" and "How does my skeleton pedal on the wheel? Try and marvel is expressly desired!

A further exhibition room is dedicated to minerals, geology, a youth bio laboratory, European mammals, the bird world, the animal worlds of the Ice Age, America, Africa, Australia and Asia and, last but not least, humans and their pets. Constantly new special shows complete the rich offer. Between visits to the individual worlds of experience, the terrace café-restaurant invites you to take a break.

All rooms are accessible to wheelchair users.
