In Obdach im Murtal gelangt man durch eine wunderschöne Waldwanderung neben dem Granitzenbach zur Schaumühle.

The entrance to the themed trail is located at the parking lot opposite the Kleinpöltzl farm, below the village of St. Wolfgang. A stone arrow marks the entrance to the parking lot.
The themed hiking trail starts with a 500-meter-long forest road leading to the Alpine Rock Garden and from there to the Ahorn Platform, where the adventure trail begins. Along a narrow forest path of approximately 600 meters, the trail crosses numerous wooden footbridges and two impressive wooden bridges over the Granitzenbach. Experience and enjoy nature at several interactive stations, such as the Kneipp basin. The resting areas along the way offer ideal opportunities for a break. The Schaumühle, located along the trail, is powered by water.

Just before reaching the road towards St. Wolfgang, you will come across a "Bienenhotel" (bee hotel). It provides a practical and lifelike insight into inhabited beehives. With observation hives, some of which are made of glass, you can directly observe the busy life of the bee colony. Immediately after, you have the opportunity to take a detour to the quaint village of St. Wolfgang. There, you can replenish your energy. If you wish to continue hiking, you can stroll to nearby huts or mountain guesthouses.

Trail distance: approximately 2.5 km
Duration: about 1 hour
Elevation: 1,100 m - 1,200 m
Difficulty level: easily accessible, slight incline
