The two neighboring former tourism associations ApfelLand-Stubenbergsee and Naturpark Pöllauer Tal have developed a project with the LEADER region "Zeitkultur Oststeirisches Kernland", in which they focus on the sacred cultural treasures of the two regions and "organ hiking".

Churches and their organs and bells are presented and brought to life acoustically.
The churches date from the Gothic, Baroque and Classical periods, have been extensively restored and are part of sacred and artistic life in Eastern Styria. Together with the gastronomic offerings in their surroundings, the traditional "Kirchenwirten", they have always been places where locals meet pilgrims and hikers. The sacred art magazine produced as part of the project, the various brochures, an audio guide and tourist offers provide visitors with lots of interesting information about the cultural treasures.

Hikers and long-distance hikers can look forward to new tours from church to church in the beautiful landscape of Eastern Styria. Around a dozen churches in both regions can be hiked - from the small Gothic filial church to the "Styrian St. Peter's Cathedral". - Past regional self-marketers, wine taverns and inns to the church inns at the start and end points
With the support of the federal government, the province and the European Union (LEADER).
