From Friedrichshafen to Ravensburg, the city of towers and gates

The cycle tour starts at the Tourist Information Friedrichshafen and leads you westwards towards Seemoos. Here you leave the Lake Constance cycle path in the direction of Schnetzenhausen. The route leads past orchard meadows, forests and individual farms with impressive views of the Alps. The small farm shops along the route provide fresh fruit directly from the producer. After Unter- and Oberteuringen, the route passes through the small village of Bibruck and on to the Wammeratswatt water protection area. You cycle through the Upper Swabian natural landscape to the old town of Ravensburg. Here the pedestrian zone invites you to a carefree stroll. Browsing in shops can be perfectly combined with a tour of the historic old town and the charming cafés and restaurants promise pure enjoyment.

After a relaxing stopover, the tour continues past the baroque cathedral in Ravensburg-Weißenau before heading back along the Schussen river. A short detour over the Haldenberg offers a fantastic backdrop to watch the sun set over Lake Constance. From Ailingen, you finally head via Bunkhofen towards the Rotach and follow the river to its mouth into Lake Constance. From here it is only a few kilometres along the Lake Constance cycle path until you reach the starting point again.
