As usual, the Freestyle Circus Serfaus comes up with three different areas. As everyone starts small, beginners get the chance to learn simple tricks and acquire first freestyle skills by approaching the first metal elements at the Beginner Circus. Advanced riders who are seeking a new challenge get a real treat at the Jib Circus: however, the highlight is definitely the multi-jib feature consisting of a rail-combo and a wallride. For the experts among riders, there is absolutely nothing preventing them from flying high at the Progression Circus. This area, with jumps of 4 to 17 meters, offers full action for true pros as these jumps demand a lot of skills and courage.

Freeriding in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis – Kamikaze into the powder ocean

As a freerider you get assailed with adrenaline and endophines when you dive into the unprecedented ocean of powder in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. The backcountry gets even more attractive this winter! We´re adding a new route, which makes it 11 routes in total, where you can surf in accustomed elegant manner through deep snow.

Ride the 11 seas of powder
A proper drop in altitude difference is as essential for riding the backcountry as the literal snow on the mountains. To make sure that freeriders can focus on their supreme discipline instead of spending their time hiking, all our routes can be reached through a lift.

Also via the lift you get to the newest sensation of the skiing resort! As of this year, the challenging route with the appropriate name Skyline can be found right beneath the Schöngampbahn. Feel Free time starts when you arrive at the top and take a look at the breathtaking panorama. It´ll just be a short rest though, because you´ll ticking to dive into the 2km of deep snow floods lying in front of you.

In addition to this new addition, experienced riders can still cruise the 10 well-tried routes. Accomplished riders looking for a longer route can have their way on the Adlerroute, Old Sattel or Powder Nose. Experience a drop of about 400 metres, each over a length of 1,7 to 2 km. Similarly long, but way more ambitious is the Kamikaze route where you ride down the snow waves on a gradient of 70%. A real jewel for advanced riders can be found on the Pezidroute, because here you can prove you´re capable of manoeuvring yourself through the powder. On just 650 metres you´ll have a drop of over 300 metres in altitude.

Freeride Bases instead of Baywatch
In case of emergency there´s only one life belt on the mountain – a constant peeping-sound from under an avalanche and an alpine rescue service who´s locating the signal. Therefore it is very important to bring your safety-equipment like an avalanche transceiver as well as a helmet. Additionally, Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ensures safely on a very modern and high level. At the Freeride Bases, backcountry addicts can double check their transceiver and plan which route they want to ride. Moreover, you can find some* information about difficulty level* and characteristics of the lines.
